Children are the most important part of our society and represent our future. It’s necessary for all of us that our children grow up in a safe and caring environment, learn ethical values and get the chance to develop a strong identity. But not all of our kids are as lucky to have a loving family and peaceful home.

The Russian Ball became a patronage of the children’s home “Mirovo“ in the area Voronez near Moscow. “Mirovo“ was opened in 1998 to give orphans new perspectives and hope. The children receive a good education; their talents and creativity are being supported.

Unfortunately there is a huge lack of financial support. Nathalie Holzmüller, the Russian Ball host, took notice of this problem last year and announced the charity project “Hope” at the fourth Russian Ball. After the last ball event the children’s home received first donations. Prof. Evelyn Teri, a friend of the Russian Ball from the very beginning, broke ground with her first charitable bank transfer. We are looking forward sending a huge amount of money as well as donations in kind to our fosterlings after the upcoming ball. The organization needs furniture, sports equipment, toys, computer, music instruments and theater costumes. We highly appreciate your help and support!
